"Serves God. Solves Crime." Man, this is just the best. There’s something so comforting about mysteries, especially the classic English brand. One is never less than fully confident that the murderer will be apprehended and order restored to the universe. And the universe is always so orderly! (Other than the murder.) Peaceful abbeys, pleasant country houses, etc. etc. The detectives themselves chaste, semi-omniscient geniuses with gentle quirks. This may be the most relaxed I’ve felt in weeks.
